About Palm Beach County ALA

The Palm Beach County Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (PBCALA) was chartered February 2, 1986, and today has over 90 members representing private law firms, government agencies and corporate legal departments throughout Florida’s Treasure Coast.

The Chapter was formed by area law firm administrators who recognized the need to improve the quality of legal management.  Founders of the Palm Beach County Chapter determined the best source of information available to improve individual job performance was the knowledge and experience of other legal administrators and believed networking would enable local administrators to become more efficient, competent and professional in their jobs.

As a member of our Chapter you’ll be able to share with, and learn from, other Legal Administrators who experience the same day-to-day challenges you face. Our organization will provide you with an opportunity to develop mutually rewarding relationships with other professionals in the legal field.  We challenge and encourage all members to participate in Chapter meetings, committees, social events and other activities throughout the year.

All members of the Palm Beach County Chapter must be members in good standing of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA). The eligibility criteria for ALA membership are established by ALA, and can be read here.
